They are not required to have on any lights at night, not even parking lights. 2. There is no standard issue police car. I seen the standard pig mobile, as well as Toyota prius, ECT 3. They use unmarked cars. I have seen corvettes with no police icons, there windows are tinted and the lights are on the inside, same with the SUV’s. The other day I saw a beat up old green ford Taurus unmarked car with the lights inside. He had pooled over 3 cars in an hour.
