Accountability Among Journalists

Journalists in Ecuador that appear onscreen are now having both their name and email address displayed under their image. This really does add to accountability on any stories they report out to the public. I could just imagine the weather guy getting emails saying “you bastard, I went golfing and it rained on me… clear skys? eh!” that happened once on this episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm .

The link below talks about this and other things they think should be available to the general public, who signs their checks and links to their recent reporting as well as other info that would bring more legitimaticy to the reporter.
