I recorded a little video for GeekFit, (the podcast I do with my friend Steve Klassen) showing off my unicycle skills. Check out the video below. You can read about what got me into unicycling again in my previous post: Re-learning to unicycle

My daughter Jessalyn and I drove down to Santa Ana to go to the Discovery Science Center to explore and see the special event BubbleFest. Jessalyn had a blast looking at all of the exhibits and interacting with all of the kid friendly things they have there. Wet sand, Van de Graaff generators, Clifford’s town, Yellow Submarine, Dinosaurs and lots of bubbles are just some of the great things at this facility.

My son Chris, my brother Brandon and I went to the Irwindale Speedway on Thursday. They were doing this T-N-T night where you run what you brung. It was exciting to see the cars drag race and go as fast as they did on the 1/8th mile track. 133 MPH was the fastest run for the night. This was my first time going to a 1/8th mile track and its the second track I’ve even been to. In a previous life I street raced and did some drag racing at the track in Pomona.
Check out the video and let me know what you think.

I checked out this new (to me) service called Animoto. You give it some images either off your computer or pulled from a 3rd party (flickr) and they make a video out of it. The end result is VERY high quality and awesome production value. Check out the video I made using their free service.

I talk about podcasters that neglect to put their show notes into lyrics field of their media files.

Do you have a lunch date today? If not, you do now.
Virtual Lunch: http://virtuallunch.wetpaint.com
What do you think? It’s lunch time and you brought your lunch, all your workmates have left without you yet your online friends are having the same problem. Why not meet up online and talk it up? Grab your sack lunch from the fridge, sit down at your desk and login to a website and talk with your online friends via audio or video. Most services support a mixture of both so there shouldn’t be a problem there.
I’m starting up the wiki to get the ball rolling and to find an online video service that would work best for this. Lemme know what you think.
