Google Glass XE7 software update expands search features (video)

Google this week released the Google Glass XE7 software update to the Google Glass Explorers devices. Last month’s XE6 update they improved the camera. This month they are powering up the voice experience, taking their first steps on the web and helping us communicate better with the people we care about.

More voice instructions

They added more hands free commands such as “ok glass, read aloud”, “ok glass, reply” and “ok glass, answer call”

Built-in web browser

Before glass would just get you the basic info from search engine results, now you can take it a step further and view the website using its unique browser feature.

Scroll – Slide your finger forward on the touchpad to scroll down.
Zoom – Slide two fingers forward or backward to zoom.
Look around – With two fingers down on the touchpad, move your head around to pan.
Click – As you look around, you can tap to select anything in the center of the screen.

Share with more friends

You aren’t stuck with just 10 contacts, now you can use any of your Gmail contacts.
